Lately, there's been a place in my dreams. A wonderful place.

A Music center.

Not just any music center though. A Beautful, gorgeous community friendly music center. Think the UD CFA meets [link] for the interior with Marble, dark wood, small indoor garde, glass skylights, music themed statues with a piano playing from somewhere.

Inside are multiple floors that all open up to the lobby like this [link] There are many many practice rooms with soundproofing, old beautiful pianos, wall is a giant mirror. The door is glass and all face out over the lobby.

On the lower levels, beyond the lobby, is a mini recording studio for aspiring singers and rappers those who just wish to have a place to do their thing. There is also a Huge music library with music for almost any instrument and any vocal piece and copy machines. There is a beautiful orchestra hall and two large concert halls where fundraisers and such can take place. Underneath it all is a basement Lounge selling drinks with jazz musicians playing and also local bands.

It would be close to the city of Wilmington, so that it is accessible to all who wish to use it. Membership is free.

It's such a magnificent place. I would love love love love love to see it become a reality but alas, I don't think anyone would fund it and I don't think that there would be near enough donations. -sigh- oh well. the dream still lives.... =]
